Help quick with sr20 red top

Ok I just want to get more opinions on this problem. My car has a jumpy idle I've boost leaked tested an get 15 psi on the gauge an changed temp sensor as well. Motor only has aftermarket external gated an bigger turbo only on 8lb spring an stock injectors

Now when I run it down the road an come to a quick stop engine will idle down then jus die, it will start back up with no problems does it sound like an IACV ?

do you have a pic of your setup? where is your airflow meter located? if it is mounted to close to the turbo then when you let off under boost and the turbo back spools it will blow air back out the air flow meter causing it to stall out.. let me know

My car has a crappy idle too and as no one has really thrown you solutions to check that seem to make a difference. Get some maf cleaner, there is specific spray for mafs. Take out maf, and gently feed the red straw thru the screen and carefully spray off the filliment. Keep the straw an inch or so away from the sensor, also make sure your maf is wired in right too. I still need to check this on mine. But I guess it'll still run with a couple wires switched but rich and shitty. Your vacuum lines as well. are they routed right and not cracked or rotted out. I'm about to order a wiring specialties harness just to rule out a 20 year old rotted, heat soaked wiring nest.

Sounds like you're not re-circulating your BOV?

have you tried to run full compressor surge or recirculated bov and see if that stops the low idle? have you ever thought that maybe your bov is leaking?

What the hell is up with everyone's grammar in this thread? Use god damn punctuation marks.

What other information can you relay upon us about your setup? Are you still running the stock ecu or is it a stand alone with someone else's tune? Did you build the engine or did you buy it from someone else? It may have aftermarket cams in it throwing off the idle and tune (this happened to me before). I wouldn't recommend driving anywhere without the filter unless you want to kill your engine. Be patient and wait for your adapter. Your problems sound like a boost leak to me. Go to your local hardware store and fabricate a boost leak tester. Pressurize the system then spray soapy water on all of your couplers and look for bubbles. Couplers can often hold vac but leak boost when the pressure exceeds a certain amount. Check your bov spring. Make sure your maf plug isn't loose. Kill that damn SR gremlin. Good luck.
