Auto vs Manual Trans Crossmember.... difference?

I have searched, cant seem to find what what is the main difference between an auto trans crossmember vs a manual trans crossmember, the reason I ask is my vq mount kit will accept the stock S14/S13 crossmember if the center section the mount rest on, is about a half inch thinner on an auto crossmember...

ok not 100% sure but when i got one of my cars with an sr already in it, it had an extra tranny crossmember in the trunk. so i put it up against the one thats already on the car and its basically reverse i dunno if its the jdm crossmember so dont take my word for it. but the car used to be an automatic. anywho for the 4 mounting holes one side is usually higher than the other. so lets say both of the pointed in the same direction the manual is lower on left and higher on right. automatic is higher on left lower on the right. confused? i am hahah

They are completly different. You can use an A/T crossmember but you have to flip it and only two bolts can be used to hold it to the floor pan. I know this for a fact so its going in bold...
