Power Steering Problem.. Any advice?

My power steering system in my S14 is getting me frustrated. Recently I replaced some power steering lines that were damaged and now my steering wheel goes all crazy after a few seconds. (Front wheels are off the ground)

I am aware that you need to bleed the power system by turning the wheel left and right but it goes all crazy and doesn't allow me to do it. I know its not a bad power steering pump because i've tried 3 and I get the same results with all of them.

My QUESTION is...Is there any other way to bleed the system? Can someone elaborate please.

Note: I was driving my car without power steering for about a year. Idk if that matters in choosing what method to use. Help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you check if your power steering rack bushings aren't shot to hell? If they are its a quick cheap fix

No I haven't...I didn't know that would matter. What else could it be if its not the power steering rack bushings?

I don't think I have them backwards but just in case...Does someone have a diagram of some sort that shows how they go?
