Hey guys I have pretty much a whole spare ca18det.The only things missing are the crank girdle and it needs new cams.The block needs to be honed but i can do that for anyone if you like. let me know what you want and we can work out a prize or the whole lot.

I will sell every ca part I have left for $500 + 1/2 of the shipping cost. That is 4 coil packs, rail, oil pan, block, crank, main cap, valve cover, whole set of front timing covers, harness, exhaust mani, intake mani, sub mani with butterfly valves, 2 throttle bodys, set of lifters, and fuel rail with 370cc injectors.

No its a parts motor that I have. It has everything but a flywheel, crank girdle, tranny, ecu and camshafts. I have a wiring harness and valve covers, two of the hardest things to find for a ca

Bump for a block...

Looking at the photos, that block would require not only a hone, but decking as well with the corrosion on it(compression bump is the plus for a deck job). What kind of power would a completed motor make? In addition:
Are trannys and everything available to make that motor a stand alone carburated old school motor?

Reason I ask is I am thinking it may make a solid powerplant for an old
1954 Austin Healey BN-100 Le Mans, but it would mean a tranny, rear end, and essentially entire drive lone set up

ya the block would need to be decked, These motors can make a lot of power, the stock rods are good to up to 500hp. The one I just built is going to be putting out around 265hp. I dont have any extra trannys laying around but I thing I saw one on Nicoclub.com.
