hacking the maf is basically a dsm thing. not too much to hack on the 240sx. it consists of removing material that blocks the airflow.

get a used one from a junkyard, ebay, or someone from the forum. When someone does an srswap they would have an extra one lying around.. new ones are a few hundred dollars.

The s13 MAF is all metal, but the S14 MAF is plastic, and can easily be modified the way the DSM folks do it.

Hacking your MAF wont fix it. What is done is you basically take the operational guts out of an S14 MAF and put them in a larger diamter pipe. Because fluid flows slower in a larger diameter pipe, your MAF will output a lower signal than usual, allowing you to use this lower signal to run higher flow rate injectors. That's the jist, at least. There is a bit more to it.

Since you have S13, just go to the junkers and get a new (used) MAF. Shouldn't be more than 20 bucks.
