S14 Sr20 Intake manifold on sr20ve head?
I've now heard from 2 different sources that a s14 sr20 intake manifold fits on an sr20ve to make it front facing, and the only thing I would need to do is port it? Not really worried about doing it since I'm going with an excessive intake, but now it definitely has me curious.

No, it doesn't... Bolt pattern is wrong. You could cut the flange off and weld a VVL one on however. Below is a picture of a VE intake gasket overlaid on an S14 intake gasket.

It's basically as mentioned above a cut and weld reusing the VE lower intake plenum. This is the pic that I saw that did that. There is another thing to consider going this route is the coolant lines. VE are like S13 where to coolant / heater line from the head is separate from the intake manifold.

I'm doing a similar build but I'm going for something cheaper route on the Intake manifold. I plan on keeping lower VE Intake planum and match it with a universal intake plenum using the original gasket. This will keep the cost down to less than 150 once it all done.
