S13 with no harness

Have no harness for anything, can I just buy the SOHC engine harness and it can start? What if I want to wire everything else, headlights, tailights. Do I have to mess with the engine harness in any way?

I can wire in the fuel pump and starter. Is that all I'd need to essentially just get the car running? Wire in all the lights, acc stuff later.
