yeah, there is a reason for that. Do you want shiny colorful hoses, or do you want shiny colorful hoses that dont leak, expand nor collapse ? Because they DO look somewhat similar, but they are not priced the same.

A quick google of "silicon hoses" should help. As with anything, you get what you pay for. A little more now, is always much better than A LOT more later.

No silicone line is going to vac shut unless it is thiner than normal. Seriously buy eBay silicone hose by the foot(cheapest route). Read the descriptions of how thick the hose walls are...

Seriously I would not of posted this if my silicone hoses worked found a foot or two tried it and it vacuumed shut I hate going threw shady manufactures or vendors that have no idea what wall thickness is
