well, ive been searching high and low, and i still cant find wtf engine the 89-90 240sx has. All i know is it is SOHC. Oh yea.. any idea if cams are available for it? thanks guys..

A newbie are we? We all gotta start somewhere. Its the same type of engine that's in '91 + models, just a SOHC version of it. Puts out less power than the DOHC version. Anyways, I know Jim Wolf Technology offers a cam for the SOHC engine, just check out their website, http://www.jimwolftechnology.com.

looking hi and low huh? well you aint searching hard enough, you ever read that tag on your firewall? it should say KA24E

yup, the big silver plate, right behind the intake manifold. says KA24E right on it, also says it on the hood, door plate maybe?
