I am attempting to buy a dash from the a local junkyard, The guy there is telling me that the passanger airbag cover is attached to the airbag itself. Is this true? or is the cover and the airbag completely seperate, any info would help, I am trying to convince the guy to give me the whole dash.

it is not true they are two seperate pieces, and they can be sold seperatly and do seperate witout removing the airbag from the car, me = family owns junkyards

but is that piece connected to the airbag, if not I can talk them out of it. hopefully it aint,

yea.. but the junkyards won't let em go w/o the airbag.. i had to take my cover and trade for theirs (I changed my interior color).. They're stubborn like that.
