what is the max power a R33 green label AFM on a sr20det can handle??
as above, ive been trying to find out. ive searched google and ive been getting answers everywhere from 320 bhp to 400 bhp
my s15 is currently running a r33 green label afm with a hks turbo, 550cc injectors and a power fc (and a lot of other mods) . ive only just bought the car and im not happy with the map, so i am getting it remapped asap, but i want to know will the r33 afm be able to handle 350 to 360bhp , as this is the power i am aiming for if not, why? any info would be great, but please dont reply saying buy a z32 afm haha

Its better than the RB26 AFMs(single) but not better than the Z32 AFM. From what I was told when I was in Japan, about 320-350hp was about the most they expect out of them. Folks with RB26s would upgrade to twin RB25 AFMs and make almost 600hp with them before they'd either get rid of the MAFs with a PFC D-jetro or upgrade to twin Z32 MAFs.

this is the most pointless reply , it has nothing to do with my question.

Not much info, but it does state the N62 MAF from a Z32 does work up to around "350rwkw" (I think 470 hp?)whatever that translates to. Good luck.

I talked to a buddy of mine and he is upgrading from the twin J70s found on his R32 for the N62s, I think you might be better off with this upgrade also. This is speculation until someone can clarify with definitive info; but he told me all of his Skyline buddy's (R32 and R33) ditch their stock MAFs for the N62s, I'm told the N62 is good until 600hp and the OEM RB MAFs are only good till 300~350hp. You're going to tune it anyways, so just bite the bullet and do it, IMHO. Good luck, and keep us posted.
