EGI relay problems, no ignition power to ecu sr20det

I need help. My problems started after my wheel rubbed on the driver side harness and exposed some wires. This obviously caused some stuff to short out. After cleaning up that harness( rewired some stuff, soldered, new insulation) my fuel pump would not prime. After tons of research and troubleshooting, I gave up and just wired a manual switch to the pump. Fuel problem solved, the next problem was no spark. I found a random thread online and discovered that my egi relay was the problem.

So here is where im at now. Pin 38 and 47 on the ecu are supposed to get power when the key is "on". Well, they don't. I have to jump the egi relay across 3 and 4(the two connections closest to the fender) to get power to those pinouts(the relay is brand new btw). With the relay jumped the car idles not so great at first but gets better. But when driving im not even getting 4lbs of boost and the engine sputters at 5500rpm. Ive searched and tried to come up with a way to fix this, but I just don't understand this circuitry.

I'm having almost the exact same problems with my red top. My fuel pump went out so I hard wired it now (3 weeks later) the car isn't getting any power when the ignition is in acc or on. Even with a jump nothing. Did you find a solution?

jezzer4, Typically when the EGI stuff gets funky, it's because it's shorted inside the ECU and needs to get repaired to work properly.

Ewing, in your case, I'd be looking for boost leaks, and correcting your timing first.

No offense intended but what does boost leak have to do with my ignition not getting any power? When I turn the key I don't get anything so I would assume its an electrical problem. I'm not very good with wiring and the like so I feel like I'm searching for a needle in a haystack. Any other pointers on where I can look?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried to swap ecu's with one that works? Did you replace the Fuel Pump Relay? (Next to the EGI Relay) It could also be your fuel pump going bad and not supplying the right about of Fuel Pressure.
Also low boost and sputters could be Spark Plugs, or Spark Plug wires.

Haven't tried swapping the ECU yet. I just put a brand new pump in less than three months ago, so I think we can rule that out.
