Ok first of all sorry but I didn't have time to take a picture before it got dark. I fugred you could probably figure it out on your own w/out one. I've never seen/heard of it and couldn't find it searching. It's an HKS, and it says Sequential Blow Off Valve on it. Maybe JDM? It's not the normal SSQV that I see everywhere. Anyone?

is it the old bronze metallic plastic one thats shaped like a jet engine?

it makes an interesting noise, kind of like a bird fluttering noise. then again, back then (6 years+) maybe that noise was just compressor surcharge

Boost you got it right on the head, kick ass, thanks. It's also the second auction you posted. So what's the story with these haha, are they JDM or just old/rare? I love the noise, its unique. So weird though. It actually makes one noise that's followed by a very different higher pitched one. Crazyness.

Also, how does the sound compare to todays new SSQV? Because that's what I'm planning on getting when I get my FMIC kit. Because this one is kinda beat up.

New SSQV sucks, all plastic valve construction inside. it's so weak. Get the HKS racing SSQV, or anything like greddy, blitz with metal valve.

we don't sell a lot of HKS SSQV, but we had 2 defective ones.

Well from what I've read, Blitz sucks, something about them leaking. And I don't like how the GReddy sounds, it's like a mouse quief. Any other suggestions? Haha.

I really reccomed the tial bov. only downfall is you can't re-route to intake you have to dump to atmosphere. which to me was just an excuse to get a VPC. anyways other than that the apex'i twin chamber and the greddy type s would be my reccomendations.

But isnt the reason most guys go SSQ is because it wont bog as much when your still running on MAF?
