Mounting a hydraulic e-brake set up question.

Have any of you installed a hydraulic e-brake set up with out cutting up your center console? If so, can you post a pic of your set up if it's not to much trouble? Search the web and it seems every set up I've come across, the user hacked up the center console or did away with the console to install the hydraulic e-brake set up. I did find one where the user did away with the cable e-brake set up and replaced it with the hydraulic e-brake. I'd still like to keep my cable e-brake and install the hydraulic e-brake in another location.
Thanks.....

Pretty much everybody who does it how you're thinking just shoots the handle up through where the radio would be. Nigel's up there and some guy here with a blue dash and a custom diamond plate bezel has something similar.

Got mine tucked between the tunnel and my chair, I sit very far back so its welded onto the cross brace for the seat mounts. Might be less clearance for people that sit further forward though.

That was just with the standard steering wheel on for pushing the car around, has a boss, plus snap off boss plus dished wheel on now so comes no where near.

this thread actually got me thinking about possible hydro locations for my car in the near future. this one cut through the console, but not all that much...looks like a perfect location for what i'd want

maybe bend the pipe a little closer....

can you just put it next to your seat, then bend some metal to where the original ebrake is? just a thought

im actually going to move it alittle more forward, i have limited pull since i run out of room from my underarm/elbow hitting the seat. and just upgraded to wilwood .75 so i need a longer handle anyway.

I think this is what he meant. If you were taller, it would be even more awkward to grab for the reason you stated above
