Lol, you may want to look into something called punctuation and spell check before trying to prove to someone you're not an idiot.

pretty sure i didn't spell anything wrong. either way i didn't think i was asking a bunch of grammar teachers, besides i wasn't trying to prove anything i was simply asking questions obviously of something i didn't know or i wouldn't have asked in the first place.

Calm down ladies

To the OP do some searching I've read all about it before.

It's possible, there are factors to consider.

While I've never done it on my personal stuff, you can delete it, but you will need to fiddle with the TPS sensor and setting to 'trick' the car into ideling properly. I still don't see it liking cold starts either.

With that said, It wouldn't be worth the hassel/bother to do it. To make a care purposely operateworse for aesthetic reasons is lame IMO too.

Without it your car will idle like shit, you might be able to adjust the idle via the throttle body. Much easier to just keep it and run the big black dick hose.

On cars with the Greddy Manifold and associated Greddy cold pipe, the IACV hose is directly under the throttle body, so it does help 'hide' it a bit.

Show car or non show car, I don't like cars that don't do basic things like idle well. To me I'd sooner find a way to put an AN line on there to clean it up than delete it.

i did it while waiting for a new one to come in. During summer I had absolutely no problems, once it got colder I had to keep the gas pedal held down slightly for about 5-10 minutes till it got warm enough then it would idle fine.

I did this on my S13 SR20DET, we were able to adjust the tps to get the car to idle once it warmed up but idle when it was cold was another story. seems like you can pick one, hot or cold, but you can't have both. At least this has been my experience, I went back and put the IACV back on just to keep from having a car that idles funny when it's cold.

gotcha i think ill keep it haven't put the motor back in the car yet so i just took the first hose and bent it down (its not kinked just moved) then cut the mount off of the hard part with the 45* in it connected comes out perfect right under the throttle body so ill be able to hook it up to the ic piping with out it being seen ill post a picture later when it warms up a little

Not the best pics, but you can't even see the pipe on my setup. Then again my car is far from a show engine bay haha.
