Hey guys I bought an sr20 from a guy that needed some cash fast for Christmas needless to say I got a dirt cheap deal but I'm missing a few parts. I got a Sr bellhousing and I'm gonna use my KA tranny just wanted to know if anyone else here has done it and what problem they ran into appreciate the help guys

I have a KA tranny, on my SR bell housing!
It works just fine, been having it on for about 3 years.
I believe the gear ratio is different though

That's cool man everyone I meet always says they heard about doing it but never did it. As far as moving things from one to another what else do you need to do other than strap on the bell housing

It's a basic swap! Nothing much to it.... NO major modifications at ALL!

Btw if you are wondering what year KA tranny to use/or if it would make a difference. I believe all KA trans(89-98) are the same. So it wouldn't matter wich one you use.

Can you use the same fork under the throw out bearing from the Ka on the Sr housing I don't have one for the Sr

^^^Same fork and hardware. Only thing you might have to change is the TOB but that all depends on your clutch.
