1990 240sx s14 Swap Issue

I know this has been covered I just could not find the the answer by searching. Just looking for a few answers.

I have a 1990 240sx. I put a sr20det (s14 Blacktop VVT) Into the car. Nothing on my gauges work. So my understanding is

1: the speed sensor is the same from KA - SR so no need to look for a different one? (I know the connectors may not be the same)

2: The stock motor was a KA24E. Now If I'm not mistaken.. I will need a DOHC gauge cluster (91 +) in order to get the gauges to work anyways. Is this correct?

3: I have a rip off HKS BOV. It does the flutter... I was told that a BOV that does this is not seating the valve properly? Is this true ?

Thank you guys so much sorry if this is the wrong place I have just searched and not received a straight answer.

1. Yes, match the sensor with which harness you're using so it'll be plug and play.
2. Yes
3. If its turbo flutter, then the BOV could be too tight. But at the same time, if you losen it, it might start leaking under boost.
