Hey guys. Ive been rebuilding my sr20det to drop into my hatch. Just bought a rebuild kit for the stock garett t25. I vant, for the life of me, get the turbo apart. The exhaust side just wont come off. its been soaking in pb blaster for a few hours, still nothing. Im gunna let it soak over night. But i need some ideas! And if all else fails and i need to buy a new turbo what should i get? Rebuilt garrets go for like $450 which is steep. Seen godspeeds for like 220, i know they arnt amazing but it would last me till im ready to get a bigger turbo. Thanks guys let me know what you think.

Are you saying the exhaust housing wont come off the turbo? or that it won't come off the manifold?

If it wont come off the turbo, Lightly tap it all around with a hammer.

yes ive been trying to bang it off. been trying for a while.

Give it one Hard whack. IF you crack it.. well the turbo was probly shit to begin with. if it comes off... bingo.
