question for the bmw fanatics

i saw a mid 90's nice 3-series at school today that was convertible with the optional hard top...

my question is how hard are the hard tops to find for the same mid 90's m3 converitible? can you still go to the stealership and order one? or do you have to buy one used?

and if anyone has pictures of what im talking about please post them up

you talking about e36 or e30? for the e36, yea they are pretty rare. Most likely if you are looking for one you'd have better luck to buy it from a dealer then to try to find a car with one already. but its gonna cost you your left nut...like this guy

most likely the dealer will have to order you one, and it will be a pretty penny. you will probably have the option of getting it prepainted . you also might wanna check bmw forums that have a fs section or even ebay.
