Coilovers on S13 lowering nightmare!

Alright I drop my 93 S13 2 inches I am still not real happy the way it sets. I would like to get another 1 inch or 1.5 lower. I am ready to step up to the plate and by coilovers but I am unsure of which brand I want.!? Naturally I want the cheapest price I can find but I would like short stroke adjustable dampner and a good spring rate for playing/driving and a good amount of height adjustment(and the ability to rebuild them). I would also like to find some that come with pillow mounts and all. I have searched and searched but it just keeps compiling to the point it confuses me more(poor me). Anywho I want some advice from some people that have them. I want to go low enough that the wheels are slightly above the fender edge or at least even with them. Any Coilover guru have any advice or links I may have missed? I am open to all brands and would like some insite from the users!

If u dont know how to compile a search then maybe you should rethink about even considering Coilovers.

Yeah thanks brain surgeon ! I have compiled my search just fine. I am asking for opinions sorry I didnt put it in laymans terms. I'll try again.

Hey everyone, I am looking for coilovers for my S13. I am looking for an adjustable dampner, short stroke, with good spring rates for play/street. I would like to have something complete with pillow mounts, and with alot of lowering ability. I have looked at several different kinds are there any that I may have missed that someone may have some experience with and recommend. I am looking for some more Ideas and products. Thank you to everyone with productive helpful answers.

try either, tein HE, or if you can find some Tein HA, Cusco, JIC FLT-A2... just some that are fully adjustable for <$1500 and good quality, also there is a GB on D2 coilovers which you can chose your own spring rates, its on NICO i think? and they are like $750 or so shipped, and there are a coulple people here that have them... it ends soon though i think
good luck

The D2's rock my world. Far better than the Tein and JIC cars i've driven imho, and under $800 shipped WITH front PBM's...can't beat that.

you might as well just cut the springs. With that little travel your front suspension is gonna be bottoming out all the time anyway.

I know that the teins are ok for the track but for the street, too bumpy. At least on the cars that I have ridden in that have them. Spend a lil more and get the better brands like Cusco, Kazama, Kei Office...that's my opinion.

if they too stiff..get tein basics..they cheap and they fine juss for regular drive..HE's are more for drift...if you wanna really cheap then get the knock off on ebay...i think they will lower your car...juss..you will be bobbing like a ricer.

I'm not a newbie, I just don't post on here much. I've done a lot of work on cars...sometime more than meets the eye...but I don't really care about those cars anyway...they're just shop cars and customer cars...

This subject has been discussed to death... every fucking week there is someone who posts the same ol question...... do a search and read through the results... I just brought up about 50+ results in which everyone gives ther opinion about different coilovers... If u are really interested in something don't be lazy and do some research before posting another useless thread
