On one of my Google searches a guy replied to the OP in a forum saying that an alternative to retro fitting S14 rears into an S13 is to swap the upholstery onto the S13 rears. Is he talking out of his *** or is it a viable option? Mind you, I've only come across one person suggesting this and it was uncontested in any of the subsequent responses. I'm not the type to take my information from just one source, so I was wondering if anyone here has done this successfully.

Might work. you'll be stitching or gluing to make sure all of the seams and corners fit properly, I dont see it being a direct swap. And if youre getting s14 upholstery, I would think you might as well swap the entire seat.

For what it's worth S14 rear seats fit in s13s with little work.
