any other way to order the free sample besides phone? im from PR as you can see and a phone call would cost me way to much for the questions i have...

how is this against heat? Im interested in trying this to reduce a bit of heat from the downpipe on the drivers floor area.

I was just going to post the same thing. I was also interested to see if it keeps some heat out from the downpipe and transmission tunnel area. If it does in fact keep the heat out or significantly reduces it, i will give you guys a call.

When I called to place the sample order they asked for my email address... should I be concerned that I've not received a tracking number, receipt, or confirmation?

If that doesn't help answer your question, please let me know. GTMat can be used for both sound and heat insulation.

Unfortunately the program we use to ship the samples isn't great at getting tracking numbers out. We ask customers to provide email addresses in case we decide to ask a few questions about your experience. Your information is never shared or sold to any third parties. If you PM your info, I can provide your tracking number.

Got mine today! Came with stickers, coupons and even a roller to apply. Nice. Seams kind of thin to me but then again I've never held any in my hand before. Ill be posting pictures eventually to bring me a extra $5 for my next order (:
