HKS DLI Box vrs Split Fire system.

So i need to upgrade my car's ignition after learning it has aftermarket cams. The HKS box is only $150 more than the Split Fire..but ive never actually heard anything about it. I've heard that people swear by the Split fire. Anyone have any expierance?

aftermarket cams don't signal the need for upgraded ignition. The stock coil on the 240 is pretty stout. That's why you don't see many people run them. Even with wild turbo setups.

so..you're saying spark plugs and bigger turbo?
I'd like to hit 300 at the wheels on stock turbo and 14psi. I'm sure its possible to squeeze out 23 more hp with ignition and tuning..yeah? But if i need to go to a gt28, no big deal..just more money.

300whp isn't really possible on the stock t25 on an sr. they usually max out around 270-280 at most. An s15 t28 would put out that. You'll need fuel upgrades too.
