S14 indecisions!

Hey guys, just bought a set of dmax super street coilovers from gtr garage. Now I'm trying to decide what i should do now. I have a s14 with a redtop that's stock minus the full greddy exhaust and front mount intercooler. I'm currently debating wether i should keep my stock se wheels or should i swap them with the extra set of Falken koblenz i have in the garage. The koblenz are 9.5 in the rear and 8.5 in the front. Basically 275 in the rear and 245 in the front. I like to be discreet and not flashy but I'm all about performance. What do you guys think i should do? Here's a pic of the car...

Do you already have those tires on the koblenz? If so it doesn't cost anything to switch them on and try it out and see how you feel about it.

Well having wider tires does help with performance you get more traction if they're just sitting there than I'd say go for it.

Do you have pictures of the coilovers installed? That picture looks to be stock strut/spring..

Yea i have tires on them already but they are on my z at the moment and not having an air compressor makes it like a 5 hour job lol. I might try it this weekend. I don't kraving, i just ordered them so i won't have them for about 2 weeks. They are the ones posted in zilvias home page by gtr garage as the "holloween" sale. Going from stock wheels to those would you think id lose a lot of acceleration? More rotating mass =o Only stock boost so every hp counts lol.

Absolutely, I'll update you guys with the build. I wanted more power but I just ran into my second blown shock so I decided it was time to get some coilovers. Hopefully these coilovers perform well lol. Ill posy the pics as soon as they come in.

Air compressor? The fuck do you need that to take wheels off a car? Used a damn 4-way or a socket wrench...

And why the fuck is it a 5hr job? It takes and hour at most to swap or even rotate wheels...

About losing acceleration sometimes if the rims are lighter material than stock and tires are less beefy than you don't have to worry about that
