probably from rubbing previous owner's bumper. this part will not be visible.

one thing id like to point out, and the reason why these are $25 less than the previous set i had for sale http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/52878...og-lights.html

is that for some reason its missing part of the bracket
for comparison and to illustrate what im talking about:
