So i decided to flush and refill my cooling system in my rb25 swapped 95 240. I get my self some radiator flush and run it through my car and then run water for 20min or so and then flush that out. So I fill my car up with fresh coolant with the front of the car lifted up and also using the spill free funnel until I can fill it up no more. I start the car up turn the heater on to let any air circulate out of the system and I let the car idle for about 30-40 min. The problem arises when I rev the car more bubbles keep coming out and I am thinking there might be a leak in the head gasket ? I cant seem to get all the bubbles out and I am trying to decide whether or not to run the car longer?

Any one? The bubbles only come out when I rev it.

Keep bleeding it. Might still have air in the damn intake manifold. My recommendation is invest on a swirl pot so you dont have to keep second guessing on how well you bled the system.

bleed the system. If u have the stock intake manifold there should be a bleeder by the intake manifold, a little 10mm bolt on a little pipe mounted to the front of the intake by the fuel rail. If u have an aftermarket IM, try disconnecting one of the heater hoses while you fill the system up. The point is to leave one of the hoses that sits the highest on the engine side disconnected, or at least half way disconnected (someone holding it for you), that would let all the air out of the system while the coolant pushes it out and fills the engine. This doesnt even require you to lift the front of the car up.

All up to you, as long as they dont leak, nothing fancy. But I've always used PBM Swirl Pots cuz they DO look fancy.

Before I installed mine on my RB25, took me forever to get it bled. Now with the pot, I do what you do, get as much as I can. Top everything off, drive it for a day, check the pot to make sure its topped off, repeat if needed.

Its a freddy IM and I used the spill free funnel but the coolant aqirl pot will be my next investment and possible doing a leak dow test when the rain stops.
