KA hardbody, 240sx tranny?

Hey people

Can I use my s13 ka24e tranny in a '94 hardbody xe 4wd? I figure since it is the same engine it should work but I don't know about the 4wd. Will that matter?

your tranny would work in a 2 wheel drive hardbody. In a 4 wheel drive model there is a transfer case incorperated into the gearbox so you could not use your 5 speed out of your car.

Yeah, the 4X4 tranny's have a housing that allows that T-case to bolt up and the chain to turn it.
