Creaking clutch?

Im looking into purchasing someones s13 off of them but one of my major concerns is that the clutch pedal creaks and no i dont mean a small squeaking noise... i mean an actually creaking sound haha. They currently have a stage 2 exedy clutch but i think its the pedal itself but im not too sure.... anyone else have this issue?

could be the hinge on the pedal itself, or it could be the dimple on the clutch fork where the slave cylinder pushes on it on the side of the trans.

grease both

Its not uncommon for the pedal assy to break. I'd inspect all the brackets for broken tack welds, bracings crack and the U bracket for the push rod likes to snap into 2 pieces.
