KA24DE Question

stock 1992 Ka24DE

I had a serious flooding of cylinder #2 the other day. I replaced the injector and oil (smelled like gas). After a few tries, started the engine.

Now, I'm noticing over heating and my idle goes up a little after being fully warmed to running temperature. Exhaust is spitting out mad condensation and there is some smoke.

Can the flooding cause my head gasket to go bust?

Not sure if that would of eaten your gasket, But washing the cylinder walls with fuel can eat away your rings

im not smelling any gas from the exhaust, and there is minimum smoke...I was told to just drive the car for a good 20 miles or more to get all the gas out of the engine. the only thing is stopping me from that is the weird overheating. it takes a long time for it to over heat, but then again I've been having a air in the radiator and a slight leak from one of the lower drain plugs...replace radiator perhaps and flush?

Does the exhaust smell sweet? You should probably do a compression test to verify, but it sounds to me like your HG might be on its way out.
