I got a 96 s14 and pulled out my ka harness and i noticed that the there is a white plug that is connected to a seperate harness that leads under the carpet and seems like it leads towards the back. Is that for obd emissions since the canistor stuff is located at the bottom rear of the car? Just want some clarifications if i need it or not since my sr20 harness doesnt have a plug for it.

Yes, IIRC, its for the emissions stuff in the trunk for the gas tank.
