Need help on JIC coilover installation
I need to help on how to preload the spring and preadjust the height on these coilovers (FLT-A1).
I waited for 3 months for them to come. However, there is no instruction inside the box. ![]() By the way, to make it stiffer is by turning the key clockwise or counter-clockwise? Thanks in advance! |

ok ok ok...
we used to be a major carrier for jic but we dropped them... anyways... to adjust preload.. the coilover should be off the car... basically you want the spring to spin a little and have just enough load that the spring doesnt fall out... basically no preload on the spring.. to adjust ride height... measure left/right and see if they even... adjust accordingly.. then throw the coils on the car. from there you will drop the car on the wheels and adjust from there... also.. to stiffen the coilover you turn it clockwise... hope this helped..
