Unique mods thread

I don't know how long this is going to last since these cars have been around forever but post up what you have! It could be anything from cool headlight setups to back yard mods so post them up!

Here's mine:

I took off the chrome backing from my 180sx glass and replaced it with jdm rainbow sticker backing. Looks cool!

I've thought about making this thread, glad you did it. I'll have some stuff for in here when I'm on a computer and not my phone.

Got a few of these from over the years.

Most recently my new dash setup for ease of connecting the laptop for mapping.

New hydro handle as I kept bending the alloy one.

Slide hammer to keep pulling the dents after I hit everything

Actuator bracket:

Ipod holder:

Not sure if my bonnet counts or not. Just made it out of sheet steel:

No proper finished shots cause it got wrecked

I did this a few years ago. I didn't like where people put there aftermarket alarm LED warning lights and wanted to come up with my own solution. It was inspired by OEM alarm LED placement.

I used my HUD gauge cluster but it should work the same on an analog one.

First pick a spot. Preferably an unused warning light spot. Trim a hole big enough for the wiring to fit through.

Next trim the clear "domes" to make the LED fit flush.

There is no cutting required after this. The warning light panel fits just like it should.

I then pulled the wires through the empty bulb hole and ran them behind my dash.

Here is the finished product.

When activated the light will illuminate the entire cabin at night and it looks factory.

I have no pics, but I wired in some crown Vic/town car horns in placement of my stock horns, no one takes the OEM horns seriously cause it sounds like a clown car, but now when I honk at people they move, now people look around when I honk because they don't expect a loud manly horn coming from my S13.....lol

Here's mine...

Half manual window / half power window.

In order for the driver to have the ability to roll down the passenger window within arms reach, I installed a factory OEM power folding mirror switch that controls it instead.

I'm planning on doing this to my two-tone as well.

Why you ask? Because the way I look at it, it is one less thing to break. As long as I have a working left arm, I will continue to roll down my own window. Rolling down the manual passenger window while driving has been proven dangerous.

I still want to do this to my car, except I have power mirrors so I don't want to get rid of that =/
I need to work on this for my car!!!
