how exactly do you finish off a carbon fiber hood, just a clearcoat or something? Or is it already finished when you get it?

Its usually got a clear coat on it of some sort. So no need to paint it unless you want to look stupid... If I had a s13 I would already have a Fiberglass hood that Don Nimi offers @ PDM-Racing.com and get it painted since it comes primed and ready for paint. Its a steal for $350 too.
