so if you use seafoam on an SR...

would it totally fuck up your turbo? bc ive heard seafoam takes all the carbon buildup off of the top of the pistons... but it goues out the exhaust... and when you have a turbo...
any input?

arent you supposed to change plugs and oil immediately after using it? Ive used it on my Z. My neighbors were pissed with the smoke cloud covering the street. (condo)

it's all written on the side of the can. when you pop the brake booster line off, have someone in the car ready to apply throttle, as it will stall the car. also, i found that a good way to get the fluid in there was to use a small glass measuring cup, tip it slightly toward the vacuum hose, and then just let the hose suck the fluid in slowly. yes, the cloud was nasty...but it was worth it. and by the way, you only need one can to get the job done. do it again in a couple of weeks if you need more.

You won't get any shit in your exhaust, turbo, manifold, etc. The carbon all burns off, creates the smoke, then disappears.

Think of it as magic. Just do it, don't do anything special, and forget about it. Enjoy the smoke show

the only precaution i took when using it was i installed a old o2 sensor i have laying around, i know the seafoam says its o2 sensor safe, i just like my sensors clean but i wouldnt worry if you dont have one laying around, just pour the shit in, i found it helps if you stick a small flat screw driver in the throttle stop, it raises the revs a little so the motor wont stall as easy because the throttle is partly open, this prolly isnt as easy to do on a dohc or SR cuz of where the throttle is, but it works on my sohc and my ca18, hehe. just do 1/3 of the bottle in the gas tank before you fill up, 1/3 in the oil, and the last of it through the brake booster, then just wait for ppl to come out of thier houses ready to call the FD

an alternative method to putting it in the brake booster, is have vinyl tubing with the 'arrowtip' fitting at the end. dip one end of tube in bottom of can, and jam the fitting into the brake booster tube.
