KA24DET Fuel Pressure Regulator reading 100psi

EDIT: Fixed the issue. Clogged fuel return line. Thanks.

Purchased an ISIS adjustable fuel pressure regulator, installed it before I ever started my car.

The original one was reading 100psi (regardless of adjustment) (max psi for the gauge) and the car wouldn't idle. I had to keep feathering the gas to keep it on. I replaced it with a stock SR fuel pressure regulator and the car idled when i installed that.

Got a replacement ISIS fuel pressure regulator, it idles with it now, but the gauge is still reading 100psi fuel pressure (again no matter how I adjust it). It's also idling pretty low. Any idea of what could be going on?

-On my second fuel pressure regulator as stated above
-Brand new 300zx fuel filter
-Brand new walbro 250 fuel pump
-Deatschwerks 550cc injectors
-RS Enthalpy tune

Nope, you hit the nail on the head. Return that POS and buy a quality regulator.

fixed the issue, the regulator was fine. The fuel return line was clogged. Thanks guys for your wonderful input. You really helped me get to the bottom of the issue.
