Up for sale is my 1978 Datsun 620 King Cab Deluxe pickup truck. This truck is a third owner vehicle which spent its entire life in desert climates. Purchased new in Albuquerque New Mexico where it remained for the first two owners and then shipped to the Coachella Valley after I purchased it. I purchased this Datsun in 2012 with the intentions to create a Daily driver which maintained the following characteristics: Reliability, Originality, and a high fun factor. I always tend to look for vehicles that have A: true-original paint, B: straight bodies C: and are unmolested. This truck fit the criteria perfectly; I even have the original window sticker, purchase contract, warranty card, brochure and all documentation.

-U67 Cylinder head, gasket matched porting
-Weber 32/36 DGEV
-1981 280ZX Close Ratio 5spd.- Low Miles (perfect for highway cruising; hits 80 mph at 3000-3500 rpms)
-OEM Spec. Exedy Clutch
-Datsun 720 4x4 Leaf Springs (far superior to lowering blocks.) Front has torsion bar adjustment.

Maintenance:

Here is a list of all the maintenance performed. I’ll do my best to remember it all.

-Transmission and Differential flush with proper GL-4 and GL-5 fluid fills.
-Interior Shift boot and brass shifter bushings
-Differential Pinion Seal
-Center Carrier Bearing and Insulator
-Transmission Mount with new rubber
-Transmission Output Shaft Seal
-Clutch throwout bearing
-Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder with transmission boot
-Brake Master Cyclinder
-Brake Booster
-Water pump
-Coolent inlets and outlets, thermostat, thermostat houring, temp. sensor, oil pressure sensor.
-280ZX Gear Reduction starter
- 60 amp Alternator
-Brake Lines and clutch line
-Cabin Heater Valve
-Front and rear shocks
I’m sure there is more I’m not remembering!

All in all this is a very fun reliable truck that is very cool and utilitarian. I’m looking for a serious buyer that can appreciate an old truck like this. Serious inquiries only! Low ballers and tire kickers will be fully ignored.
