forged mag wheels

i am thinking of getting a set of r.s watanabe cyclones but found them to be made of magnesium. i am not too fond of forged magnesium wheels for street use. but i do like the wheels.

so i wanted to find out if there's anybody who's had experience running forged magnesium wheels for street use. ie..durability issues.

thanks i'll search around for them on honda boards.

forged mag wheels seem lightweight but don't seem too durable. (i think) i don't really mind if i scrap/curb them while driving. but i don't like to see them all bent up because i use them on the street.

shinhed

my girlfriend goes to taiwan about once a year, and sometimes i go with her. so on my next visit i'll probably drop by japan to pick up a set.

Magnesium very strong? LOL, no. Magnesium is actually considered to be a very soft metal compared to aluminum or steel. The only benefit of magnesium is it's weight.

As for buying it, I dunno. I personally wouldn't bother since I don't think the wheels are that hot but if you like em I guess you have no choice.

EDIT: BTW the regamasters I'm about 95% sure are forged aluminum.

Being the most anal jdm freaks that they are, I'm pretty sure someone will answer if you post a thread about spoon anything on those boards.
