Leaky Injector
|
95 S14, clean title. SR20. Tons of parts $2500
So I'm either parting or selling the shell as a whole. Comes with an sr which needs new piston rings. There's some rust on the battery tray but that is it. The car is on 350z struts with lowering springs. It has a big ass downpipe and exhaust. Trunk full of random bits and pieces. Full SE leather interior. Uncracked dash. vented hood. Big FMIC and all the piping. Stock rad, sold the Koyo. Stock front bumper, some aftermarket skirts and rear bumper. Pioneer speakers are still in there, I think, don't remember. Like I said, car has an sr20 that needs new piston rings. Low compression across the board. Had a big ass turbo on it, probably leaned out or was over revved, had the limiter removed. Tuned ecu is sold. Still has 550cc injectors. Car would crank but not start. With all the above and the wheels it's on I want $2500 for it.
Other parts I still have for it: top mount manifold. $120 SS braided turbo lines, brand new still, 3 total. $100 Got a couple door panels, including one kouki, passenger side if I remember. $35 each White passenger fender. $70 White passenger door, complete. $120 Aftermarket VIS/M sport looking front bumper, brand new never mounted or painted. $200. Anything you see on the car is up for grabs too, at this point. Any more questions feel free to ask. Located in Philly. Can easily transport the car. Also have an r32 drift car if anyone is interested in a separate post. |

U sure it needs new rings, and not just a new pcv valve. If I had a dollar...
describe "low compression". 130psi across the board is pretty standard for high mileage sr20s. |

if they all were even, then you may have an obstruction. Did you open the throttle body for the test? Was the battery strong at the time? A weak battery, closed TB, any obstruction to flow, and the compression may read low. If they are all the same exact reading then I would repeat the test with all plugs out, use a great battery, and a different compression tester (sometimes they read wrong. especially the ones you rent.)
