Short on main ignition wire

Okay. I've been through 2 ECU's already. Everytime I start my car my ECU blows out and the foil that blows runs from the main ignition wire which is black with red stripe. I cant seem to find where the short is coming from but I know for sure its a short on the black/red wire because i hooked up a multimeter to it. Also when I start the car for a split second the ECU doesnt blow... But when I pull out the key from the ignition the car stays on and doesnt shut off unless I pull the ecu out. I dont know what the problem could be but if this has happened to anyone if they could give me some help or advice on how to cut down this problem. Thanks Okay. I've been through 2 ECU's already. Go through the electrical section of the FSM and follow that B/R wire that you are talking about. Also, check your ignition switch for shorts.

That B/R wire on my 95 240sx connects to the "Main, IGN/SG/, Inject, Fuel" and is connected through the ignition.

When I had a short on that B/R wire ( i think it was that), the wire was touching one of the screws that held one of the injectors and had melted a little part of the wire down to the copper. The ignition fuse kept blowing so I would get no power anywhere.

Like I said, follow the B/R wire through the FSM.
