Pop-up headlights, running daytime lights?

Whats up guys,
Friend spotted out that i have, and other s13 pop ups, have daytime lights.
I did not know about this but how would you make them work?

•I noticed black and white wires from the headlamp, are those it's wires?
•How would i make them work, to run daytime?
•Can i mod them to a switch to turn them on whenever i want too? (I see no switch on the dash for those)
•What's the size of the bulbs so i can switch to better/bright ones?
