![]() Hello I bought and installed a mechanical oil pressure guage and I have been watching my oil pressure. It is only at about 12psi at idle after the engine warms up. Is this normal, or is this a little low. Please let me know what you guys think. THX!

Don't know if this will relate to your SR, but...
I have an Autometer Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge on my KA24E and I get around 12psi at idle when its good and warm.... Although my engine is probably one of the worst cases to aspire to ![]() It doesn't seem too far off from other KA readings I serched for when I installed mine: http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=24591 -Matt

from what i have researched, that is normal oil pressure, the factory service manual says that it should be above 11...mine is low too around 20-25ish with an electric oil pressure gauge. but if you are talking about an SR20 then i would say ur fine and that is normal. as long as it goes up to 60 to 85ish when you rev it, depending on how high you rev it. later
