SR Oil Pressure question

Hello I bought and installed a mechanical oil pressure guage and I have been watching my oil pressure. It is only at about 12psi at idle after the engine warms up. Is this normal, or is this a little low. Please let me know what you guys think. THX!

Don't know if this will relate to your SR, but...

I have an Autometer Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge on my KA24E and I get around 12psi at idle when its good and warm.... Although my engine is probably one of the worst cases to aspire to

It doesn't seem too far off from other KA readings I serched for when I installed mine: http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=24591

from what i have researched, that is normal oil pressure, the factory service manual says that it should be above 11...mine is low too around 20-25ish with an electric oil pressure gauge. but if you are talking about an SR20 then i would say ur fine and that is normal. as long as it goes up to 60 to 85ish when you rev it, depending on how high you rev it. later
