What kind of numbers are you expecting?

A local guy has a ka24e with a nismo cam or something, paceshitter header, injen intake, port and polish stock pistons and such, and he is claiming 300whp.

Hey...the cam timing is off.

To use a '91 exhaust cam for an intake cam, you rotate it 4 teeth...

There should be exactly 8 links between the dots..you're at 7.5.

Just FYI. Here's a quick reference if you're unsure...but trust me, I've run that setup on 2 different KAs.

I came across the same problem when rebuilding my KA, sitting there looking at the FSM and looking at my timing stuff and not having anything match up. that was a nightmare...

thanks for the info. i had read it's 3 teeth, and it looked right when i compared it to the intake cam, but'll go look again if you're sure of it.
