NY FT: 1996 300zx Twin Turbo

1996 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo with 69,000 miles. I want to see what I can get for trades, looking to get a nice DD on stick. This car has a rebuilt NY title, but mechanically is all there. Exterior is pretty good for the most part, and interior is in mint shape (suede/leather). The car had all maintenance work completed, and has no engine noises or turbo leaks. Still on stock boost, never raped, and has plenty of life in it.

price, I would say 9k, 120k I did in August, car has full maintenance done. Not sure why rebuilt, im assuming accident, it was issued to 1st owner and I bought the car from 2nd owner who brought it to NY.

These cars hold their value extremely well, I bought mine for 11k back in 2003, if anything it would have gained resale. Nice Z32TTZ GLWS. If I was stateside this would be sold already.

thanks, I love the car but want to own an S30 or a Honda S2000 while I'm still young and able to have project cars.

Monitors set to ready?
O2, EGR, CAT, EVAP?

My 91 TT was a vacuum hose nightmare. I bypassed a ton of useless systems to get everything worked out, but with the OBDII on your 96, it'll never pass NY inspection with those systems deleted.

all the systems are still in place, the engine is pretty much stock. the cats are off the car at the moment, due to test pipes, but I do still have the stock cat pipes with the O2 sensors in my garage.

Have you ran it with a decent scanner to see what pops up for monitor indicator lights and or check engine codes since?

I hate NYS OBDII inspection man. My 98 S14 wouldn't pass because of a 5 speed swap. P0705 code kept popping up.
