CA Car doesn't stall in gear

Was driving along the freeway around 75mph in 5th gear and all of a sudden I get barely any power to the wheels when I give it gas.. Pulled to the side of the road and also noticed the car doesn't stall in gear. I never noticed any gradual clutch wear while driving the car so I'm not sure if it is the clutch. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get the car safely up in the air, put it in gear, have a look.
Sounds like clutch, but could be trans, axles, driveshaft, or differential.

All the axle bolts fell off and blew the axle.. I guess they got loose some how. Thanks for the reply.
