Building the Ultimate Response RB Motor?

Ok, as some may know i have a 1972 240z

im looking to put an rb 20-25- or even 26 in it, but what i want is the ultimate response maching

i know on sr20's its possible to put the natural aspirated pistos to up the compression a little, yielding better response

Option:1
RB20DET
N/A SR20DE Pistons (giving 9.5-1 compression)
Equal length tubular manifold
3 inch elbow
full 3inch catless exhaust
custom intake plenum, maybe ITB's if feasable
Light Flywheel
Aluminum driveshaft
4.11 gear r200
electric fans
s15 t28 bb turbo at about 16 psi
spearco intercooler
recirculated BOV

now this is assuming the piston interchangability

option 2 will forthcome if 1 is shut down whats everyones opinion on this? i can get rb20's for 1500$ all day long. So this might be a good way to make 350whp or so decently cheap plus then i would have 2 2.0 240's

I've seen ITB for the RB20 that might be something to look into although I think if you keep the turbo reasonably small the RB is gonna be responsive as hell in he S30. i'm still considering an RB25 for my 73 240Z.

thats option 2 im looking to get 350+whp but i want to get it coming in low if possible, reading back on halos sr thread, 320whp seemed feasable on it, i figure an rb 20 should be able to pop the 350 range or rb25 with a higher compression piston would be awesome but then you get into money...

yeah. Im definately putting a 9.0:1 setup together since my SR is dying here. should be fun. check with mcKinney about options for the RB I dont know whos got a great parts listing of stuff for them really. or check with Motorex since they import and upgrade skylines (both of those seem dubiously obvious though )

I like the idea. I like the RB20's super short stroke. I was wondering though, how good does the RB20's head flow? That stroke could let you rev to the moon,(not that you would want to for ultra resonse) but I didn't know how the head design is on it, and if there are huge aftermarket cams for it. (I'm sure there prolly are). Eiether way, I like your idea.

I know somewhere on Zilvia, someone was sayin that the Aussie's make intake mani's so it's not all retarded and goin over the valve cover. I wonder if they're all custom, or if someone manufactures them in larger numbers?

i know this isnt exactly what your talking about, but it would be easier and i think give you closer to what you want from what your describing. why not ka24det? it isnt exotic but they have lots of power low and can be made to have it all across the board. it just seems to make more sense to me
