Quick question
is there a difference between an 180sx vlsd differential vs a 1989-1994 240sx differential? my main question is, is the 1989-1994 240sx differential a VLSD ?

R200 is R200 is R200 is R200... only thing that differs is the diff cover, bolts on output shafts (6/1, 5/1, 3/2) and length of output shafts. the ONLY major exception to this is the S15 Helical LSD. S15 and R34 GTT Helical R200 differentials EXCLUSIVELY use 30 spline output shafts, EVERY OTHER R200 DIFF IS 29 SPLINE!
a 180sx R200 is universal thru ALL S13s. |

Nope.... Only was equipped with ABS....
If it is too long for your car, you can try taking off the dust collar of your transmission....

question !!
so i want to put a S13 VLSD IN MY 96 240SX, I have an open diff on it right now. My main question is, if i were to put the VLSD in . What would be the difference to the open diff ? Would the ride feel the same ? (NOTE: my 240sx is not going to be used for drifting yet, just trying to race it at the moment. )

Stop making new threads for every fucking question that pops into your head. Clearly you are completely lost when it comes to differentials. So rather than continuing to milk people for answers, maybe you should slow down and go do some reading.
Hell, you aren't even in the right section, kid. This is why we have a TECH TALK section. For Technical questions and answers. Seriously, stop posting and GO READ!
