Need help setting up excel chart.
I have a lot of info from a survey I just did. I entered it into excel, one side with the name of the info and the other side with the # of results. Now I want to set up a bar chart. It needs to have a comparison as in percentage of total results-i.e., i had 85 males and 15 females answer the survey (question #1). So what I want is a bar that has 85% males, 15% females, and another bar for the next question and so on. If I try to do it automatically excel makes a really big dumb confusing chart-since there are 48 lines of info, it tries to put them all on one bar. If I mess with it by adding series 1 and 2 and so on, It only makes 1 bar...confused? so am i....

u want a graph with one new bar for each question? u need to arrange the data in the order you want it shown on the graph. that's all. |
