I'm thinking about this since I plan to replace my rustic unit soon. I know its 80mm and its overkill but its supposedly quiet. Any thoughts?

Also, in the near future, I plan to use the Ex-Mag to an SR. Good idea also? Any thoughts here too?

Exmag is loud on all KA. Its pretty quiet on SR though.

exmag is NOT loud.... it sounds more aggressive than the stock exhaust but its not loud. I've got a 2.5" piping ExMag for the S13 if your interested. Its perfect for NA and stock boost with an SR. LMK if ur interested.

2.5" for s13? Is it the older model? Haven't seen that one around. But the 80mm one IS loud on KA.

yeah i searched but mostly guys with SR's and KA-DE's. Tyring to see if anyone tried it with KA-E. I was wondering if the resonator would be enough to suppress the loudness. Thanks though.

2.5" huh? That does sound like a earlier version Ex-Mag. Are they discontinued? Anyways I might be interested in that 2.5" setup. Let me know how much you looking for. PM me if you want.

I think the Exmag would be quieter if the stock one had holes rusted through. There was a hole in my stock resonator and it was LOUD.

2.5" piping exmag probably is quiet. the 80mm 3" exmag is loud as hell. My KA24de with the newer exmag sounds like a lawnmower on crack, i hear more backfire pops than a bowl of rice krispies. Anyhow, i've heard they're shit quiet on turbos.
