zt-2 wideband, any thoughts,

so I searched and didnt find too much, but I was thinkin of buying it, then they show that you cand also purchase the boost and egt sensors from them, and then it will also display boost and egt, can also hook up to a computer which will make tuning the think easy.(wouldnt have to simultaniously look at 4 measurements at once, while also trying to drive the thing) I have a real old 133 labtop sitting around, the program took a split second to dl, (on a diff computer) and the program is so simple I doubt teh laptop would have any probs with it. oh, and this would also end up costing a total of about 600 bux for meter, and both sensors, are their boost and egt gauges worth it, or should I jsut stick w autometer, and with a wideband, is egt even necessary, I though it was either wideband or egt. no need for both, but anyway, its either this or aem.

so far i just have the display and controller. the newest version of the software is great, and datalogging is now much easier to read with the throttle scaling. the connectors and cabling seem home-made, but for this price thats fine with me. i also had an old laptop i was planning on using, but the software doesnt like win95...so ill have to wait on that. i just picked up an autometer boost gauge, cuz it was 100 bucks cheaper and easier to read in my opinion. all in all i think its a great unit.

I plan on getting the Zt-2 in the next week or so. The Innovate LM-1 is great but bulky and more expensive when you add in the cost of a reasonable display. If you don't need/want datalogging, Innovate is comming out with a new system that will have a better display and will be cheaper than the LM-1. It should be out next month (it was released at SEMA)

Skatanic28, How do yo like the ZT-2 display. It is hard to tell from the pics cause there is nothing there for reference. If you could post a pic of it in your car, that would be GREAT - please?!?!? =)

the display is great at night. during the day there can be some reflections, but its usually readable. heres a shot of it installed for now...i know its ghetto, but it works for me.

heres a huge pic from a diggy, if anyone wants to shrink it down go for it.

wow it looks pretty nice. Does it have peak/hold? Can you program it to show just AFR etc? Any options or is it always that same display?

theres a peak/hold button on the side of it. not sure if you can change around anything on the display, i cant see how you would though.
pretty sure this is the only display they have, but it does have a 5V wideband output, so you can get a gauge for a wideband o2 sensor and use whatever you want.
