![]() i really wanted to replace my stock datsun 620 rad with another rad made of copper. came across this, & it was made by koyo. didnt know the end tanks were plastic though
![]() plastic end tanks are fine, but i dont want em on my truck. Brand new in box, i took it out of the box, looked at it, and put it right back in, aha. $140 + pay pal fees located in San Diego for local pick up shipping available ![]() FITS: NISSAN 240SX SILVIA 1989-1993 SR20DET General Description: Koyo's "S" Sports Series Copper radiators feature OE style copper core brazed to powder coated end tanks for a show quality finish. Koyo uses state of the art Nocolok Brazing Furnace to bond all of the radiator brackets, headers, tubes, and fins, creating high quality "indestructible" radiator. All Koyo Racing series radiators have "OE Specification" mounting location for stock mounting without major modifications; however we recommend using aftermarket electric fans for the best results. Koyo Hyper Radiator Caps are also available to increase your cooling system pressure to 1.3 bar for increased cooling capacity. Racing series radiators were made for manual transmission only, however with a separate automatic transmission cooler; one can use the Koyo Racing Radiator with automatics for increased cooling capacity.

i emailed koyo and asked:
1, I have a Koyo copper/plastic radiator, part number S020252. This radiator was designed for the 89-94 Nissan 180sx/s13 http://www.koyoradracing.com/images/product/drawings/full/S020252.gif my question is: was this radiator designed as a stock replacement, or does it add increased cooling capability. Also are there any '(horse) power limitations' to this radiator? their reply: Yes, S020252 was developed as a minor upgrade to the stock OEM radiator for the 180SX. While the factory OEM radiator had a 16mm aluminum core, our part# S020252 also has a 16mm core which does not offer increased coolant volume, but has a copper/brass core which has much better heat dissipation properties over aluminum. 120 plus shipping
